In an exciting turn of events, I am soon to be leaving England for the Isle of Man!

Colin and I have decided to take the plunge and move in together.

I’m writing this from the Isle of Man, as I came over here for a short holiday, but now we’ve decided that I’m going to move over here permanently. (I’ll obviously be coming back to England to sort everything out though!)

Everything is happening very quickly, but I’m over the moon about it. The way I see it, life is short, and Colin makes me so happy, so why not just take a risk on happiness?

There’s a lot to do in a short space of time. I’ve got to get rid of a load of stuff and then pack the rest. I’ve got to sort out my bills and make sure any loose ends are tied up before I leave. I’m not going to lie, it’s pretty stressful, but Colin is such a calming influence on me. I feel like we can really do this.

In other news, this means that I am now the cat mum to two more cats; Shadow and Tilly. Tilly is quite reserved and is taking a little longer to get used to me, but Shadow is already a right little mummy’s boy! I’m excited to introduce them to Anna and Elsa. It will be interesting to see how the family dynamics play out.

The Isle of Man is beautiful. It’s so laid back and quiet. The house that I’m moving into is like 30 seconds away from the beach. You can hear the waves from the garden. It’s a bit like stepping back in time, everything just feels simpler and calmer. I can already feel it having a positive effect on my mental health.

I’m happy, excited, and nervous all at the same time.

My posts might be a little sporadic for the time being whilst I’m sorting out everything I need to do before the move. Thank you for your ongoing support of me and my blog!
